For those of you new to us, Hello! We are The Spin Wires, an alternative rock band from Buffalo New York. We like to write garage rock infused with elements of dance, new wave, and pop punk.

For those of you have been long time fans, Hello again! We haven't posted on Newgrounds for a few years. However, we are now getting back at it. We will be uploading some songs that have not yet been uploaded to Newgrounds. Additionally, we will be uploading a BRAND NEW never released song that we will upload in February of 2022.

We continue to write, perform, and record music as we close in on our tenth anniversary as a band. We had a few of our songs licensed in the TV show Shameless last year and that gave us a nice boost in the arm. We always love when creators use our music, whether big show producers, or indie animators. If you are a Newgrounds creator, feel free to use our material in your web based videos and animations.

Filled with bombastic drums, punk guitar riffs, and sizzling synth hooks, Designated Distraction is The Spin Wires greatest accomplishment to date is dropping June 29, 2019.

Super Toy Cars, an addictive racing game for PC and Wii U, uses the Spin Wires music.  I had my first playthrough this weekend on Steam Early Access and it is insanely fun.  There are tons of upgrades - it combines the best elements of Mario Cart with Re-Volt.
